Recipes are written for the Fellow Ode Gen 2. Other grinders get converted settings, which are approximate starting points: adjust to taste, then use the drawdown advice after each brew.
CUSTOM GRINDER
Enter the finest and coarsest settings on your grinder's dial, and the size of one click or step (e.g. 1, or 0.1). Every recipe is scaled across that range.

Motion
Reduced motion keeps the brew ring still and turns off the pulsing and the water ripple. Auto follows your phone's Reduce Motion setting.
BACKUP
Your settings are stored only on this device. Export saves your coffees, recipes, usual settings, method, brew size, grinder, grind settings and display options, so you can restore them on a new phone or after reinstalling. Importing replaces your current settings.

STEPS
Pour to is the scale reading at the end of a pour, as a % of the total water. Times are given for 250 g and 500 g of water, and other brew sizes are scaled between them. Finish with a Drawdown step.
Pre-Brew Checklist
iPhone tip: the ring/silent switch mutes the beeps and chimes, and may mute the spoken prompts too, so turn silent mode off before you brew. iPhones also don't vibrate for web apps, so there are no haptic cues.
